These steps apply to your Hardwood, Engineered, Laminate and Vinyl flooring.

Cleaning your wood flooring is fairly straight forward. Make sure the surface has been properly brushed or vacuumed. We recommend using a flat-head mop as opposed to a regular mop simply because they retain less water. Make sure your mop is well rinsed in warm water.....and ONLY water. Wash your flooring going with the grain and board length. If your flooring has a sheen or high gloss it may be necessary to buff with a dry cloth after washing. If these steps are carried out a couple of times a week, depending on traffic per household,  you are ensuring your flooring stays in optimum condition.

We do not recommend chemicals such as bleach or any other harsh cleaners. Research has shown these cleaners damage the surface layer of your flooring when used over a period of time. We are constantly amazed by the amount of people that use Vinegar as a cleaning agent on their wood flooring. Vinegar is naturally highly acidic and also damages your flooring.
